How it works

FROM FIRST CALL TO LAUNCH.

Four stages, from the first conversation to operating inside the alliance. Open a stage to read it.

Stage 1 of 4

A candid conversation. Both directions.

The first call is about your practice as it stands today: what is working, what is costing you nights and weekends, and what you want the firm to look like in five years. You are evaluating us at the same time. You should finish the call knowing whether a second one is worth your time.

What you do

  • Tell us where the practice is today
  • Ask anything about how the alliance operates
  • Decide whether to keep going

What we handle

  • Answer plainly, including where we are not a fit
  • Walk through what the network does and does not do
  • Leave the timeline to you

Stage 2 of 4

We learn your practice. You learn the alliance.

Both sides look under the hood. We review your book, your custodial relationships, and your compliance history. You meet the people you would actually work with week to week, and you talk to member firms who already made this move.

What you do

  • Share your book, custodial setup, and compliance record
  • Meet the compliance, operations, and investment teams
  • Call existing member firms, without us in the room

What we handle

  • Review the practice and flag anything that complicates a move
  • Introduce the teams behind each service, not a sales contact
  • Hand over member firms to call, unfiltered

Stage 3 of 4

Custodian, compliance, comms, tech. Mapped out.

Before anything moves, the transition gets written down: which custodian each client lands at, what your clients hear and when, which systems you keep and which you retire, and who is doing what on which day. Launch week is not the week to start improvising.

What you do

  • Approve the client communication plan and its timing
  • Decide what stays yours and what we take over
  • Sign off on the sequence before anything is filed

What we handle

  • Map account transfers custodian by custodian
  • Prepare registrations, ADV updates, and filings
  • Configure CRM, reporting, email, and file storage
  • Train your support staff before go-live, not after

Stage 4 of 4

You go live with the alliance behind you.

Clients move, the systems come online, and the back office becomes someone else’s job. Your brand and your client relationships are unchanged. What changes is the list of things you stop doing: billing, filings, archiving, vendor management, and the platform work that never showed up on an invoice but always cost you the evening.

What you do

  • Get back to the client work you started the firm for

What we handle

  • Run billing, filings, archiving, and exam support
  • Cover the ops desk when yours is short-handed
  • Keep the growth coaching and the peer network going
